1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using NaijaAutoNation, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use services that require acceptance.
2. Marketplace role
NaijaAutoNation provides technology that helps buyers, sellers, dealers, parts providers and service providers discover and communicate with one another. Unless a transaction expressly states otherwise, NaijaAutoNation is not the seller, buyer, owner, mechanic, dealer, lender or guarantor of third-party goods or services.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
4. Listings and seller responsibilities
Listings must be truthful, lawful and sufficiently accurate for users to understand what is being offered. Sellers must have the legal right to offer the vehicle, part or service and must not misrepresent condition, mileage, ownership, pricing, availability, verification or supporting documentation.
5. Buyer safety
Users should inspect vehicles and parts, verify documentation, use safe meeting locations and avoid unsafe payment arrangements. Verification features reduce risk but do not eliminate the need for independent judgment and due diligence.
6. Dealers and service providers
Businesses are responsible for maintaining accurate licensing, identity, location, service, pricing and customer-contact information. A verification badge does not constitute a guarantee of future performance.
7. Community, Forum and Show My Ride
Community content must be lawful, respectful and relevant. You may not post harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, illegal content, malicious links, spam, stolen material or content that violates another person's rights. Show My Ride posts may include up to five images as provided by the platform.
8. Prohibited activity
- Fraud, scams or deliberate misrepresentation.
- Attempting to bypass security, CAPTCHA, access controls or rate limits.
- Uploading malware or abusive content.
- Scraping or automated access that materially harms the service or violates applicable rules.
- Using another person's identity or account without authorization.
9. Reports, moderation and enforcement
Users can report suspected abuse. We may review, restrict, remove or preserve content and accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law or maintain platform integrity.
10. Fees, promotions and sponsored services
Some services may later require fees or offer sponsorship, verification or promotional placement. Applicable price and commercial terms will be shown before purchase or activation.
11. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit, but grant NaijaAutoNation the rights reasonably necessary to host, display, process and distribute that content for operation and promotion of the service, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features for security, maintenance, legal, operational or product reasons. We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
13. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided without guarantees that every listing, user, vehicle, part, dealer or service will meet your expectations. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Continued use after an effective update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
